Canadian Lancer

The subscript states: "A British corporal of the 5th Lancers
spearing two Boers with one thrust at the Battle of Elandslaagte".
The lancer spearing these fleeing Boers was a certain Cpl. Kelly
from Canada who was shortly killed afterwards.
